How do I connect my router to OCOSA's Network?

If you are a business customer purchasing either our Broadband Internet Access (BIA) or Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) products your Internet circuit will be either a Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and/or Gigabit Ethernet handoff.  Just plug the Category 5e or Category 6 cable from our OCOSA labeled demarcation to your Internet or WAN port on your device.

 

Following applies to OCOSA's network:

 

Router to Switch

You do not need a cross over cable.

Switch to Switch

You do no need a cross over cable. Our switches use technology to auto detect the type of cable.
