What if I have WHOIS Privacy or ID Protection Now?

If you currently have WHOIS Privacy or ID Protection activated on your domain name prior to January 2, 2014 it will not cost you extra. However, you will be charged $5.00 USD for this service at your next renewal period. For example, your domain name expires on January 25, 2014. You will be not be retroactively charged for WHOIS Privacy prior to the expiration but actively charged $5.00 USD on top of your domain name renewal fee if you choose to continue the WHOIS Privacy Service on your domain name.
